Every repo and tool from the TV build, plus a starter prompt you can paste into Codex or Claude Code. Rooted over Wi-Fi, ads and tracking turned off, custom home screen.
The prompt
I want to clean up my LG TV with you. The TV is on the same Wi-Fi as this computer. Go one step at a time and ask me before anything that changes the TV.
1. Help me find my exact TV model, webOS version and firmware version (tell me where to look in Settings). Then check if it can be rooted. Read these first:
https://github.com/throwaway96/slopbro
https://github.com/webosbrew/webos-homebrew-channel
https://github.com/lasharor/cleanyourtv-WebOS
https://lasharor.github.io/cleanyourtv-WebOS/install/
2. Before each step, tell me in plain words what it does, what could go wrong and how to undo it. Rooting is at my own risk and it might affect my warranty. Never flash firmware.
3. If my TV is compatible, root it over Wi-Fi with SlopBro, install the Homebrew Channel, then install CleanYourTV.
4. Turn off (don't delete) the ads, the viewing tracking (ACR), telemetry, and the suggestions and nudges. Hide the junk app tiles. Ask me what I actually use first and keep those on.
5. Some settings turn themselves back on after a restart. If that happens, add a check that turns them back off at startup.
6. Write undo scripts for everything you change, and tell me how to get LG's normal home screen back.
7. Then build me a clean home screen: a big clock with the date, my inputs and settings, and a dock with my apps. Ask me which apps.
Never show my TV's IP address, MAC address, serial number or any password in your replies, because I might screenshot this.
